August 10, 2020
The next MIT.nano user meeting will be Wednesday, August 26 from 2-3pm. Check your email for Zoom information.
At this meeting, MIT.nano staff will primarily discuss some of the new strategies we’re developing to increase/speed up information flow to the users, and how we’re getting ready to welcome new graduate students to MIT.nano this fall.
Current items on the (very tentative) agenda; more to be added:
- New/emerging weekly feedback mechanisms (emails & discussions)
- Plans & previews on how we’re virtualizing MIT.nano orientations (and make it more self-paced)
- Follow-up on Fab-39 humidity and sharing of any additional insights we have since the last user meeting
- Tool status (old & new), ongoing issues with existing tools, and ideas on better communicating those
- Open discussion and Q&A: how are things working for you? what are your concerns for next month or two, as well as longer-term?
- Any information (if available at the time) on external user access to MIT
