Facility Updates

07/10 construction update

Beginning this week and through August 11 work is scheduled at the gas tanks between Buildings 24 and 38. While this work is underway the pathway at the underpass between Buildings 38 and 39 will be temporarily narrowed. On July 13 the walking path to the south and east of Building 31 is scheduled to close.

06/26 construction update

The activity on the site has changed focus over the last few weeks. We are in the final stage of the Utility Enabling Phase at the same time we are ramping up for the Building Phase.

05/01 construction update

The Building 12 demolition work will be extended to Saturdays and additional 2nd shift. Saturday work will start on 3/28 and second shift work will start the week of 4/6. This extended schedule is expected to continue until the end of May / early July.

3/30 construction update

3/6 construction update

Building 12A demolition (end February) - Complete Building 24 bridge demolition (early March) - Complete Building 4 bridge demolition (early March) - Complete

2/23 construction update

The demolition of the bridge between Buildings 12 and 24 has been rescheduled and is now anticipated to begin approximately February 28. Duration of work is approximately two weeks.

2/13 construction update

Over the next two weeks, work is scheduled at the MIT.nano site to remove the bridge between Buildings 12 and 24. Some noise, dust, and vibration is expected. In the planning and execution of this work, crews are working to minimize these impacts.

1/30 construction update

Starting on January 19 through February 4 access to the south side of Building 31 will be restricted due to installation of site utilities. The entrance to Building 16 at Eastman Court will be closed until February 1 due to installation of power cables.
